I adopt a shelter puppy, Lucy!
Amy Adopts!
I had a dream in October 2020 that I was sitting down and had a medium sized cream colored dog resting around my lap. It was so pleasant and sweet. I knew in my dream that I had found my new little friend.
Fast forward a couple months, I see "Honeybelle" on the Robeson County Humane Society website and thought, let's fill out an application. I had been trying for some months to adopt from other rescues, but had amazing difficulties for one reason or another! I get a call the next morning that I was approved to meet Honeybelle!! So I drove down 2 hours the very next day, first of December 2020, and met her dirty little self at the shelter. She was smelly, covered in urine and was dirty, but goodness was she adorable.
I signed all the paperwork, brought her into my car, and we went on our way 2 hours back to Wake Forest. The moment she realized I wasn't going to abandon her was on a gas station stop where I took her to peepee and I brought her back into the car...it was almost like I could hear her saying "thanks for not leaving me here!" It made me cry with joy and helped her know...I will always take care of her, and will never leave her behind!
So I gave her bath as soon as we got back, and a radiant, fluffy white cream colored coat was remaining and so beautiful! She started to ease into the home, and felt more and more at ease as time went on. She is absolutely so sweet. Amazing. Her name is Lucy! And here she is...

Introducing: Mya's Rainbow Friends
– Helen Keller
Mya passed away on May 31, 2019. It's been a year and what a year it has been! I've gone through a lot personally, and processing Mya's death was certainly a large task for me as well.
I mindfully and whole-heartedly feel the pet's essence, and empathically understand the joy that they brought you, and do my best to portray that joy with each brush stroke I give to the canvas.
While painting, I will ask Mya to please help your pet find its way home over the rainbow. With the portrait displayed on your wall or shelf, your friend will feel welcomed to visit you in your dreams or waking life, and will be remembered as a part of your heart furever.
Mya's Rainbow Friends paintings are hand painted with acrylic paint on stretched canvas that can be hung as is, or framed if desired.
I work off of the photo you email me, just like my regular pet portraits I offer. Same pricing and process, just a little different...
The difference is that I give extra empathy and spiritual energy to the painting.
I ask Mya to help your friend, as their guide, make a safe and joyous journey over the rainbow bridge. If you have a special Archangel, entity or guide that you would like me to ask for guidance for your friend while I paint, please let me know.
If you would like to share with me the stories and great times, or special personality traits of your furry friend, I would be happy to FaceTime with you as well.
Please let me know how I can assist your grieving process, as I understand the pain you are going through can be very difficult.
I believe it helps to honor your grieving process, and also honor your pet.
Feel free to reach out with any questions about my process or placing an order for yourself or as a gift for someone else who just lost their pal.
You can email me directly to get an order started, or visit my Online Shop to make an order or view more canvas size options and pricing.
