Today was the Wiener Roast in Greensboro...and let me tell you...there were A LOT of WIENERS!!! They were being pushed in little doggy carriages, held like babies in doggy slings and backpacks, it was bananas. I did meet a lot of interesting and very nice people (and wieners!) though and that is always a bonus to doing art/craft shows. These events also make me feel good since everyone chipped in and gave donations to two main organizations: Almost Home Dachshund Rescue Society and The Dachshund Rescue of NC.I painted a couple of dachshund portraits and turned those portraits into crafty little bits. And of course Mya had to get her pretty face in the photo shoot! Typical. I created candle holders, stationery, coasters, greeting cards, necklaces and boxes using the image of the portraits.
